Initially three letters: SMR
Fourth letter, unit dimension: BCD EFG HJ
Fifth and sixth digits, ratio code: 05 13 twenty
Seventh digit. indicates assembly: O shaft mounted speed reducer 2 flange mount
Eighth digit: signifies output hub bore needed: 1 typical metric bore. 2 different metric bore.

It backstop are essential, these must be buy separately. and will have to specify the output hub rotation. E.g.: SMR-E2001 full with backstop. from the input shaft side, the output hub’s rotation is in clockwise.

Backstops
A backstop may be integrated on applications wherever it can be required to stop reversal of rotation. it really is swiftly set up inside the reducer, by simply removing a cover plate
Note: For ratio 5: one gear box, backstop never proposed.
Flange mounting
SMR case style is such that the reducer is often bolted direct to supporting framework. this flange mounting use of the reducer may perhaps allow designers to omit a bearing or pillow block, but it does. obviously. remove the simple belt adjustment function characteristic of shaft mount.
